Slamp is technical sponsor of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, contributing to the new exhibition layout with a museum lighting project that combines Italian design, innovation, and culture. Presented during Salone del Mobile 2026, the collaboration establishes a new dialogue between contemporary art and lighting design.
The renewal of GNAMC aims to redefine the museum experience through a contemporary approach where architecture, art, and lighting interact. Light becomes a central design element, enhancing exhibition spaces and improving the visitor experience.
For the museum’s restaurant area, 70 Poppy blooms designed by Marc Sadler were installed, creating an immersive and scenographic environment. Presented in 2025, Poppy is a modular suspension that evokes a field of poppies, transforming space into a dynamic luminous landscape.
In the new layout, light becomes part of the museum narrative, enhancing the emotional connection between visitors and space. The collaboration confirms Slamp’s commitment to promoting Italian design within cultural institutions through innovative lighting solutions, where aesthetics, technology, and craftsmanship merge to create immersive experiences.
