The Hipódromo de Palermo Casino in Buenos Aires underwent a complete renovation covering its 18,000 m², including gaming rooms, restaurants, and offices, under the direction of Estudio Spodek.
The lighting project, developed in collaboration with Estudio Spodek and GA Iluminación, featured luminous scenographies by Slamp, including a bespoke version created for the Capriccio y Cosmopolitan Bar, the casino’s gastronomic and entertainment area. Here it was necessary to illuminate the six central columns of the hall: the solution was a bespoke version of the La Lollo collection, designed by Lorenza Bozzoli.
Characterized by cylinders in different Slamp technopolymers that decompose and amplify the LED light, the bespoke version of La Lollo elegantly wraps around the columns. The finishes include the typical golden tone of the collection, Lentiflex® with a ribbed effect, and a gold foil with a “brushed” effect. The result is a scenographic intervention that harmoniously integrates design and functionality.
