Versalis: an ecosystem of expertise for hospitality
Monza, the first step of the project

On the occasion of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, inside the Eni Monza House, Versalis presented a new project dedicated to hospitality, developed together with Slamp, Artigo and Mediterranea Design.

A collaboration that brings together expertise in materials, lighting, surfaces and furnishings, with the aim of developing solutions that combine design, functionality and sustainability, from concept to completion.

Expertise and materials for hospitality

The project brings together four specialised companies: Versalis for the development of tailor-made plastic materials, Artigo as Flooring Partner, Mediterranea Design as Furnishing Partner and Slamp as Lighting Partner.

For Slamp, the collaboration also opens up a new research path together with Versalis towards an increasingly eco-responsible evolution of lighting design, starting from the technopolymers that have defined the brand’s identity and research for over thirty years.

“Having always worked with leading companies in the field of technopolymers, Slamp found in Versalis the same ethical code and the same responsible vision. This path will allow us to transform our lighting brand into an increasingly eco-responsible company, building on the sustainability initiatives Slamp has pursued since its foundation.”

Roberto Ziliani, CEO and Founder of Slamp

Towards increasingly responsible design

The journey with Versalis is part of a commitment that Slamp has pursued since its foundation: reducing waste, recovering production offcuts and using entirely cold industrial processes that do not release harmful substances or CO₂.

This production approach is supported by an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system, guiding the brand’s research towards an increasingly conscious and responsible model of design.

A collaboration looking to the future

The Eni Monza House represented the first opportunity to present this shared vision. A starting point for developing new solutions for hospitality spaces, bringing together material research, lighting, surfaces and furnishings within a single project.
