On 21 and 22 October 2026, Slamp presented its approach to lighting design at Architect@Work Paris, an event dedicated to architects, interior designers and design professionals, held at La Grande Halle de La Villette.
Across two days of architectural exploration and innovation, Slamp showcased a vision of light shaped by material experimentation, craftsmanship and creative freedom. An approach that opens up new expressive possibilities, allowing lighting to become an integral part of the architectural experience.
At the heart of Slamp’s presence was a special installation featuring 40 Poppy flowers, from the collection designed by Marc Sadler. Delicate in appearance yet expressive in character, Poppy explores the possibilities of modular lighting through compositions that can be shaped around different architectural spaces.
Individually hand-shaped in technopolymer and supported by slender red-lacquered brass stems, the flowers come together in customisable arrangements. Selected flowers are airbrushed by hand by Slamp’s Sarte della Luce, so that every installation preserves the uniqueness of an artisanal gesture, an expression of Italian craftsmanship.
A meeting of technological research and artisanal sensitivity, where light becomes part of the architectural language.
Architect@Work Paris offered an opportunity to share Slamp’s ongoing exploration of light with architects and design professionals, opening up fresh perspectives on its role in contemporary spaces.
We would like to thank everyone who visited us and discovered the world of Slamp. The ideas exchanged in Paris leave room for new possibilities, and we look forward to seeing how they may evolve into future collaborations and projects.
