At Slamp, we are renewing our commitment to an “open-door” philosophy, inviting you to step inside our production headquarters and discover the authentic value of Italian craftsmanship up close.
On Friday, November 14, we will exceptionally open our production lines for the guided tour “Via della Luce” (The Path of Light) — an immersive journey alongside our craftswomen, leading you from the creative design process to material selection, and through the manual techniques of cutting and assembling our lamps.
For us, opening our doors is not just an act of industrial transparency: it’s a concrete way to bring the community closer to craftsmanship, celebrate local expertise, and inspire new generations toward the technical and creative professions that sustain the Italian design industry.
As our founder and president Roberto Ziliani, Compasso d’Oro for Lifetime Achievement 2024 and President of the Fashion, Design, and Furniture Section of Unindustria Lazio, affirms:
“We believe companies should be open spaces. Showing our processes, guiding the public through our production lines, and introducing the craftswomen of Slamp means sharing culture, responsibility, and beauty. This is how one truly understands the value of Italian craftsmanship, nurtures curiosity, and strengthens the bond between business and community. Our open-door days are an invitation to step into the heart of the product, where ideas, technique, and skilled hands become light.”
The November 14 tour will inaugurate the Slamp Outlet Days, held within our 10,000 m² headquarters, where — from November 14 to 16 — visitors can discover and purchase lamps from films, photo shoots, trade fairs, showrooms, and end-of-series collections.
Throughout the event, our interior designers will be available inside the showroom to offer personalized design consultations, until Sunday, November 16.
