The “The Lightning Archives of Studio Job” collection, designed by Job Smeets e Nynke Tynagel for Slamp, is unveiled during the 2017 Salone del Mobile, and was specifically selected to illuminate The Dinner for 100, sponsored by Slamp and Surface Magazine.
Orlandi organizes the dinner every year, held in the garden of her eponymous, luxurious gallery on milan’s Via Matteo Bandello. The guest list includes names well known in the film, music and design worlds, including Marcel Wanders, Barnaba Fornasetti, Mika, Robert Wilson, Marva Griffin, Maarten Baas, Rosita, Margherita and Angela Missoni, Tom Delavan and Paola Navone.
The Tubes, placed on a pedestal that can be seen from every angle of the garden, exhibit the iconic, Dadaist-inspired geometries and themes that define Slamp’s poetic aura and history, as well as its daring decorative qualities that make these lamps an immediate must-have, so much so, that the international influencer wants them in her gallery well after the Fuorisalone.
