Slamp for Cersaie 2019

For the second year in a row, Slamp has set its sights on Cersaie, the fair dedicated to ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings held in Bologna from September 23 to 27, 2019.

The Caffè della Stampa hosts conversations and exchanges between magazine directors and architecture/design frontrunners, welcomed by a dramatic installation of Slamp lamps. Adriano Rachele’s iconic Clizia Mama Non Mama collection’s lush shapes fill the central space, surrounded by Francesco Paretti’s column-inspired Bach floor lamps.

Slamp isn’t only illuminating the Cersaie 2019 Cafè della Stampa. Just like last year, the lamps were selected by curator Architect Angelo Dall’Aglio to illuminate the Famous Bathrooms exhibition; each room is inspired by a star’s bathroom, including Marylin Monroe, paired with Lorenza Bozzoli’s La Lollo and Atmosfera Fringe, Jules Verne with Zaha Hadid’s Aria Transparent, and Gaudì with Studio Fuksas’ Charlotte.

Art critic Philippe Daverio and journalist Emilio Mussini will kick things off during the exhibition inauguration on Monday the 23rd at 14:30.
