Slamp and Moritz Waldemeyer make Christmas come to light in Rome’s Rinascente.

Celebrating Christmas magic with a touch of extraordinary enchantment in the Eternal City: the freshly inaugurated Rinascente flagship store on Via del Tritone hosts a project by talented designer Moritz Waldemeyer and creatively brilliant Slamp.

Each window features a work of art. Slamp’s stars are based on Waldemeyer’s lighting design, casting waves of light across the entire facade. The flux of illumination symbolizes the effect the store’s recent opening has had on the city, almost serving as a lighthouse emanating its light from the heart, outwards.

Waldemeyer’s London-based studio is known for its creative lighting design and has a history of collaborating with the Rinascente stores. Slamp, based in Rome, is a leading lighting design brand known for its highly decorative, cool products made entirely by hand using patented, sustainable materials.
