NUVEM WINS THE 2022 GERMAN DESIGN AWARD

Portuguese architects Miguel Arruda’s luminous Nuvem system has won the 2022 German Design Award in the category of Excellent Product Design Lighting. This is the latest of six international prizes, including the 2019 MDO Montecarlo Prize, the 2020 A Design Award, the 2020 German Innovation award, the 2020 Lighting Design Award, and the 2021 European Product Design Award.

Nuvem was launched during the 2019 Salone del Mobile as the first luminous, modular ceiling that extends beyond traditional illumination. The one sq. M hexagonal modules can be infinitely combined, are simple to install and can be combined into infinite customized landscapes
