Born in Rome in 1965, Di Mauro took his degree in Industrial Design at the ISIA of Rome in 1996
While still studying he won the 1st Prize at the Concorso R. Ginori for a porcelain object thanks to the fish dish he created.
After his graduation, he co-operated with the Lenci practice and, after 1998, with advertising agencies (McCannErickson, Saatchi) as design consultant, realising several projects (Opel, Coop), mock-up and presentation models for several companies (Coop, Sagit-Findus, Opel, Rai, Nescafé, Nissan, Comune di Roma, Corse Tris).
Particularly sensitive to the concept of 'sympathetic design', Di Mauro was the promoting partner of 'Children Onlus', a fund for childhood, dealing with the promotional objects side.
